Galokur


Drug for the treatment and prevention of cryptosporidiosis.
  • Indications:
    • For the treatment of cryptosporidiosis in calves.
  • Composition (1 dose):
    • 1 ml of the drug contains halofuginone (in the form of lactate) - 0.5 mg.
  • Doses and route of administration:
    • The drug is given to calves individually orally, after feeding or with milk, at a dose of 0.1 mg of halofuginone per kg of body weight (which corresponds to 2 ml of Halokur per 10 kg of animal weight) once a day for 7 days. Anorexic calves are given Galokur in half a liter of electrolyte solution*.
  • Release form:
    • 490 ml, 980 ml
  • Storage conditions:
    • 3 years at 2-25°C.
  • Withdrawal period:
      • Meat - 13 days Prohibited for use in cattle, from which milk is used for human consumption.
  • Special notes (contraindications):
    • Do not use on an empty stomach and in debilitated animals. Do not use in case of prolonged (more than 24 hours) diarrhea.
