Organized by the Ministry of Communications and New Technologies of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, “Maybo” LLC has trained engineers and technicians of the Ministry’s staff, subordinate agencies and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Radio and Television Transmission Center on the use of newly purchased telecommunications equipment.
Ramazan Aliyev, a radio measurement specialist at “Maybo” LLC, a telecommunications engineer-expert, spoke about the rules of using new telecommunications equipment through slides. (OTDR-Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) is equipped with software and a modern interface running on a fully automated Windows operating system for use in fiber-optic networks, as well as FTTX / DON networks.
It was noted that the device, which will be used for the first time in the autonomous republic, will allow to check the loss of fiber connection in fiber-optic cables, measure the length and detect cable breakage, as an effective measuring device for laying fiber-optic networks, as well as maintenance.
It was noted that the German-made Rohde & Schwarz Spectrum Rider analyzer purchased at the Ministry earlier this year was equipped with an antenna module to measure the spectral measurements of the newly purchased low-frequency HE400VHF radio transmission equipment. This will allow checking the broadcasting status of television and radio programs in the autonomous republic and measuring low frequency bands.
The participants were also informed about the versions of Fluke Networks PRO3000 Tone & Probe Kit, Fluke Networks Intelli Tone Pro 200 Lan Tone & Probe Kit and Fluke Networks micro scanner 2 cable Verifier measuring devices, their use rules and features.
